Designing with Photoshop Retina Display
Adobe has finally released it’s Photoshop Retina update. Which is great. But I’m finding it difficult Designing with Photoshop Retina Display. When opening previous PSD projects, everything is displaying at 50%! I get why it is opening at 50%, but I don’t like it.
This means, if you’re designing with photoshop retina display, you need to create a project at the proper size, then zoom in 200% to view it at that normal size. Ok, problem solved (kinda). But now some of graphics will look blurry, which totally kills the entire point of having a retina display update.
Don’t get me wrong. The interface looks awesome, and I’m sure photo editors and print designers will be VERY happy. But if you rely on Photoshop for web design, you will be zooming in more often. I’m thinking of ditching Photoshop and just start using Illustrator or Fireworks for web design…ehhh.
Maybe I am missing something? If so, let me know in the comments.
Thanks!
